pfrederi 18,382 #1 Posted May 1, 2020 Finally got a chance to out shop the GT-14. Overhauled motor, refreshed hydro, Changed ignition systems and added 3 point. Played around with some scrap metal this afternoon came up with a WH recovery vehicle. This setup only works if the sick tractor has a front tachmatic. Have to figure out another set up for older horses. Have to add stabilizer chains and maybe a RAWL (be cool like Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue) 6 5
c-series don 9,469 #3 Posted May 1, 2020 You’re going to need an orange vest and a lot of strobe lights!

19richie66 17,583 #5 Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) Just an idea.... why not weld a female 2” receiver where your bar goes into the uprights and then you could swap out bars for attachamatics and one for older tractors. Want to move a trailer? Simply insert receiver with 2” ball. It would make one setup so more adaptable and useful. But I like the idea!! pfrederi 18,382 #8 Posted May 3, 2020 The rear parts are similar to a D series 3pt. The problem is the link that goes to the hydro cylinder. almost 3 ft long 3/4 x 1-1/4 steel with odd bends....
cafoose 3,393 #9 Posted May 3, 2020 So all the parts are the same as a D series except for the link to the hydro cylinder. So if I got a D series setup and a GT -14 link to the hydro cylinder then it would work?
pfrederi 18,382 #10 Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) Similar not exactly same I really haven't done a detailed check draft arms look the same some of the mounts are different...You would have to compare parts numbers... Edited May 3, 2020 by pfrederi
19richie66 17,583 #11 Posted May 3, 2020 Lower arms and the cylinder are the same. Everything else is different 1
