I put a set on my new to me Bolens and they were getting to me. I found almost enough spare links to fill them out to 2-links but I'm still missing 2 or 3. I can feel them as they rotate. Stormin 9,975 #1462 Posted February 10, 2021 (edited) We've been having a really cold few days and the ground is well frozen. So today I returned to a tree I'd felled about 3 weeks ago. The ground was soft and rough, making it a bit dodgy working the day I felled it. Plus I only just managed to drive the Sears and loaded trailer out. Today was ideal so off I went and set too. I got a nice load on the trailer and was just about to cut up some more, when the chainsaw stopped. After 13 years work it decided to lose compression. Back home I decided to go buy another saw while the dead on was investigated. If it's fixable having two saws will be handy. Also I want to get as much of the wood out of the field before it thaws again. That's my excuse anyway. Hoping to get it all cut up and home tomorrow. just to prove to certain people, you know who you are, who complain when no photo's, here's some. Sears and Saxon. I think I need a hair cut. RandyLittrell 3,827 #1465 Posted February 11, 2021 Dryer quit working, so blew it apart and fixed the singed wire that went to the high temp themostat and cleaned out all the dog hair from the vent assy. Then took all our vacuums apart washed all the tanks and put the filters in the washing machine. My daughter had vacuumed dog pee up I guess with hers and there was wet muddy dog urine in it, I had to take it completely apart and wash everything!! So gross!!
