Dan.gerous 2,696 #1 Posted April 6, 2020 Afternoon, Does anybody know if the wheels off a 246-H will fit my C-125? There's some for sale and it's always nice to have a spare set with different tyres on. Thanks for any help.
WVHillbilly520H 10,376 #2 Posted April 6, 2020 Maybe but I highly doubt it as they have the wheel centers flipped inside out vs the C or classic horizontal engine garden tractors... Then again you may be able to flip them left to right.

WVHillbilly520H 10,376 #4 Posted April 6, 2020 The fronts may very well fit if they have 3/4" ID bearings.

SPINJIM 1,986 #6 Posted April 6, 2020 Front axle length may be different (shorter), and you may have to use some spacers.
Dan.gerous 2,696 #7 Posted April 6, 2020 Thanks everyone for your advice, the wheelhorse forum is the best! I will get the front wheels, one of mine has been badly damaged in the past and the bearing is destroyed - it's just packed with grease. I probably won't bother with the rears. WHX?? 51,916 #8 Posted April 6, 2020 Your welcome Dan ... be real surprised if the fronts don't work. Rears IDK but some day when I got nothing else better to do I will check it out if can be done what @WVHillbilly520H suggested. I only have four of those 246 style rims! I can tell you the fronts are the common 1 3/8" x 3/4 low speed bearings. 1
BESTDOGEVER 218 #9 Posted April 7, 2020 Even if the wheels aren't right if the price is good the tires will fit
WHX?? 51,916 #10 Posted April 7, 2020 Food for thought here Dan could a guy pull the centers out of the rims and reweld them in as needed?

I've seen people on here do that, but the trick is to get them welded in perpendicularly. I like the idea of swapping the rears out left to right so that switches the offset but you may have to drill a second set of holes on the raised portion of the bolt pattern flange... I am willing to bet a dollar that will work.

Lay the blank on a flat surface and make equal spacers for whatever offset you want. Set them inside the blank and the center on top and tack them in. 45 minutes ago, bds1984 said: drill a second set of holes That would be just as easy … use another hub for a template.

He only wants £20 for the fronts anyway.
Dan.gerous 2,696 #14 Posted April 8, 2020 Decided to buy them all, not going to hurt sitting in the shed if I can't get them to fit the C125. Going to get rid of my other mowers anyway and just stick with the wheelhorses 🙂 1
Bill D 2,281 #15 Posted April 9, 2020 Those rear wheels should fit fine, just flip them around. The only difference is the valve stem will be on the outside. I saw a setup like that on my neighbor's John Deere. I put front wheels from a 264 on my GT-1642. They will fit fine, but the hub caps are different.

They are on the way, will get a picture of them on once they arrive. I thought the valve being on the inside was already odd, most vehicles it's on the outside I thought. Any idea what the reason behind an inside valve is?

Protection from the elements for nature is my guess plus, WH engineers wanted us to learn to stand on our heads to operate an air chuck!
RandyLittrell 3,906 #18 Posted April 10, 2020 Those flat spots are there so they can be used either way. I have used many wheels both ways. Randy

Dan.gerous 2,696 #21 Posted April 15, 2020 My wheels have arrived 🙂 No time to check the rears for fit yet but will let you know when I get around to it. Most importantly is I now have a front wheel that isn't flogged out.
Dan.gerous 2,696 #22 Posted April 23, 2020 I can confirm that the 246 h wheels fit the C125 no problem at all That's awesome as now I can have a set filled with water for the tiller tractor.
