Wheel Horse Shop Clock

Getting just a LITTLE cabin fever so decide to make a Wheel Horse shop clock out of an old engine shroud and discarded wall clock. Mission was to not buy anything (leave home) and getter done..... Happy with the results..... plus I can now tell what time it is in the shop at a glance.....

Looks great!  I’m sure one would look great in my shop too!  Might just borrow the idea with this parts engine...  I’m sure my wife wouldn’t miss a clock in the living room!

Well if we ever have yard sales or flea markets ever again, I'll buy up some clocks and turn them into something like this. Who says women are the only ones who can be crafty?  Instead of cabin fever, I have red fever !  Haha !

I have several tins in storage that are waiting for clocks. I have one Kohler Twin shroud that will be the first. Nice job.

Yep...that is an Elgin clock.  Great idea for one.  Almost everyone that has lived in Elgin for a long time will have had most of their relatives work there at one time.  Another company that went over seas.  The Swiss bought them.

You can buy brand new modern technology made in the USA clockworks for $10.  I've got a few projects on the list for them.  Hadn't considered this, but may have to do it.

They gave me impotence too, so therefore there's nothing else to do but hobby stuff now. I totally get it.

Seems like a conspiracy in order to get us to make more custom stuff and post pics for their enjoyment.
