The Tuul Crib 7,331 #1 Posted March 26, 2020 Well I'm sitting here outside my shop door in this 80° heat wave we're having and I look down and see this little guy sunning himself as I listen to mowers singing down the street. But no wheel horse is just zero turns one of them keeps making a popping noise. Anyway nice day to be outside! 4 2 2
ebinmaine 62,359 #2 Posted March 26, 2020 Bright and sunny here in southern Maine and the temperature is 52 degrees. Still have a little bit of snow to melt. I know next to nothing about gardening and plants in general but there are a couple of Lily looking deals trying to poke through with fresh greenery.

Like around here the daisies or butter cups has some call it are the first things to pop up in the spring. Ours have been coming up or have been up for the past month. The Bradford pears have already bloomed and turning green the forsythia are yellow now and all the pollen is in the air!! Aaaaaaachoooo!! Springtime always does it to me!

rjg854 10,642 #13 Posted March 26, 2020 Yeppers Spring has sprung, a sure sign for us in this house are these tiny ants we see on the kitchen counter this time of year. They are around for a couple of weeks, not a lot but enough to be noticeable. Got to b Spring.

Darb1964 1,008 #15 Posted March 26, 2020 About fifty in the Berkshires, never cleaned up from the eight inches we got Monday night, so I just cleaned up the end of the drive where it was piled up. The rest will melt.
The Tuul Crib 7,331 #16 Posted March 26, 2020 Was still way too muddy to mow the grass here. My agg tires we're just digging in way too much. Actually I thought it might help kind of aerate the yard a little!
8ntruck 6,312 #17 Posted March 27, 2020 70 and sunny here in our 'alternate location' today. Saw that the creeping Charlie in the lawn is healthy and very active. Wife and I spent some time cleaning flowerbeds this afternoon. Got to get creative with how to dispose the yard waste, as the city has closed the yard waste recycling facility, and we can't burn in the city. Most of the trash we took out of the beds was leaves, so I put the bagger on my walk behind mower munched them and put the mulch in the herb garden.

Pullstart 58,794 #21 Posted March 27, 2020 It sure smells fresh outside, a sure fire sign of spring no matter the temps! I love when the kids go out and play and they actually smell good when they come indoors! 1

Stormin 9,975 #24 Posted March 27, 2020 We've got 3 pairs of Moorhens sitting on nests. Blossom appearing on the cherry tree. Even one or two bees around. Also a grey squirrel going bananas up and down the trees on the green.
Pullstart 58,794 #25 Posted April 27, 2020 I s’pose it’s spring in the air in MI. The mower’s coming out of storage and we pulled the camper out too.
