bottjernat1 2,194 #5 Posted March 10, 2020 So I took the drive belt guard off to find this! Any one have a photo of the correct pulley? VID_20200309_180753673.mp4
Pullstart 67,068 #6 Posted March 10, 2020 If you spin the pulley around, would it fit on the shaft if you deburred it? Would the belt line up correctly? Seems it should just be a single groove pulley to me..

Seems it should just be a single groove pulley to me.. yeah after yaking at a few of the wheelhorse junkies on facebook i agree with you to. i think it is sopposed to be single to. i tried to flip it around it wont fit on. either it is tapered or just wore funny. it would line up if i used it but i think i am going to dig around and see if i dont have the correct pulley. or if someone on here does i would be up for buying one.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,524 #8 Posted March 10, 2020 1611 pulley should be 4" OD with a 3/4" ID. Hydros used a different OD and a double was used to drive a tiller early on. Garry

RandyLittrell 3,906 #11 Posted March 11, 2020 I was one that said too small, but I meant the outside diameter of the pulley. I haven't had the belt cover off my belt drives, only my hydro's, so I guess I proved my ignorance!! Ask my wife, she will confirm! Randy

bottjernat1 2,194 #15 Posted March 12, 2020 So i figured out where the rear end pulley came from! I think it is a deck pulley? What do you all think? I am hoping to meet someone at the tractor show in auburn this weekend so i can get the right pulley. I am also needing a couple shifters.
bottjernat1 2,194 #16 Posted March 12, 2020 So i did a bit of a temporary Hillbilly rig last night better then nothing. This is temporary and it will come right off so its a good thing. I also greased the fire out of the deck gears. there was little to no grease. I got to go up to my big shed i know i have a couple of the parts i need. 856_silicone.mp4

I measured the shaft and my digital caliper says. .748 could it be 3/4 inch?

I would've thought that would've been a 5/8 inch shaft because my 855 is a 5/8. eBay has a 4 inch with a 5/8 shaft for 20 bucks but that's not what you need
