So this is what happens when 14" Chevy ralley wheels meet up with 15in GT wheels. A 1/2" less back space and 2" wider

It's been to long getting this far, but it has been a busy year. Surprisingly enough. So 18x9.50x8 on front and 27x11x14 radials on the rear. Now it's a roller. YAY lol.! Now to scrounge up an engine

I'm in need of some help here. What is the best way to get these off without destroying something?

I was wondering if a bearing puller with a 3 jaw puller would work. Not sure how the electric clutch comes off either

No sir.

Something to do with a correct sized bolt and push/pull against the crankshaft.

Pullers do NOT work on some or most electric clutches.

Ah, so kinda like a power steering pulley removal/installation tool?

The inside of the electric clutch is threaded, mine on a '70 GT-14 was a 1"-8 NC bolt thread. Run the bolt in against the end of the crank shaft and it will push the clutch off.

You cab borrow one from ACE, buy it and then bring it back telling them it was not the correct size.

Mine seems to be the same thread as my puller bolt. I believe that would be Acme thread?

Both clutches are off. The pulleys and set screws are soaking over night in WD-40. Hope to get them off tomorrow after work. Any tips and tricks for those? I assume they are cast iron and really dont want to mess them up

Well dang. I thought I was making some headway on the GT.  Then the old engine hit the floor and broke the pulley. Kinda needed it lol. Now on the hunt for one of those

I'm thinking of sell some parts from my old blown engine for some funds for the project. Any idea what a 1971 breakerless ignition would go for?

If you can check the parts with a dvom to verify operation they certainly have a healthy value.

Poke around on eBay and that'll give you a decent idea.
