We all love to watch fresh red paint dry.  Looks like you are doing a great job.  Do you plan to rebuild the engine and transaxle?

Was able to get the tank sandblasted and primed today. Started fixing the hood too. Welded up some unwanted river holes and  stress cracks.. ran in to little rust that needs cut out and replaced too nothing to major. Will try and snap some pictures of the hood when I get to work tomorrow!

Have most of the dents tapped out, holes welded and patch welded in the bottom of the grill. Little bit of grinding and time to media blast it and little bit more body work.

WHX??

Hood grilles look to be fairly decent..... those can be buggers to try and straiten.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Looks great!  Do you have a plan to add a tab for mounting the hood up front?  Here are a few links to my 502 build, showing some detail on the hood mount.

Coulda’ fooled me, that looks like shiny gloss to me.  Either way, it’s looking mighty fine!
