Retired Wrencher 5,841 #1 Posted December 18, 2019 This was a bad storm we had lots of ice with some snow. So The B80 8 came thru again. That plow kicks but period. With a little pressure on the handle and it digs down to the pavement. A big. 7 11

midpack 1,011 #4 Posted December 18, 2019 Definitely a "plow" event around here! how is the steering with those bare fronts? I have some weights off a Craftsman (the small rears fit on 8" WH fronts nicely) and #40 chain around the circumference of the tire and was still looking for steering at times.
ebinmaine 73,015 #5 Posted December 18, 2019 Gary I knew you would be pretty impressed with that solid link. Now you can see why I wouldn't run a plow without one. Most of the time you just let the handle float along like you always did but every once in a while it's there when you need it. 13 minutes ago, midpack said: Definitely a "plow" event around here! how is the steering with those bare fronts? When you get a minute it would be neat to see some pictures of your setup. I have oversized tires that are fluid-filled all the way around. My front end is probably about 120 lb heavier than a stock C series. Normally it does okay.

I could use some weights. Some day I will get around to that. But I am sold on this type of storm.
