Kevinm 23 #1 Posted September 12, 2019 Anyone know how much travel there is in the seat adjuster. Mine only moves about two inches. I feel like I am sitting on the steering wheel

cleat 5,767 #4 Posted September 12, 2019 The springs themselves are in slots in the tip up seat support as well. Are yours at the back all the way in the slots. 1
Lee1977 6,603 #5 Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) If the seat springs are all the way back in the slots. Then my 520-H has adjustable tracks mounted on top of the springs. There is adjustment lever on the left side, mine is hung up and I can't get it to move more then about an inch or so and then goes back in the same hole. I'I'll check mine out to see why they don't work. I pulled the seat off. There is dirt or rust in the tracks as they don't move freely, with the persuasion of a rubber hammer I got both to move. The seat adjustment only moves 2 1/2" max. Edited September 12, 2019 by Lee1977 1

Lee1977 6,603 #7 Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) I got the seat tracks working after taking them off blowing them out and spraying a little oil in them. The bolt hold the track down are sort of riveted in , they come out very easily and are a pain when reinstalling them. this is the pictures of all the way forward and all the way to the rear. I I measured the seat springs on my 312-8 and C-120 but they are different . The holes on the 520 seat springs are 8" apart, the holes on the others are 7" apart the adjusters won't fit them. The reason I measured them is they have a short side and a long side on the spring. Edited September 12, 2019 by Lee1977
