Yes I have the binder from Craig's build let me know what you might need. He has all the pump & pully sources in it.   His pump setup works very well.

We bought our 520H in 1992 new. Came equipped with a side discharge 48" mower deck. we added a 44" two stage snow blower in 1994 and a mid grader blade to spread topsoil and minor grading of yard and driveway. We mow about and acre and a half, blow about 150 ft. of driveway, and used to help blow our 1700 ft grass runway (we live on a private airstrip). After about 700-800 hours the Onan started to puke valve seats. After the third time we decided to convert to a Honda OHV engine. That was in 2013. A few years later we purchased a zero turn mower and relegated the 520H to snow blowing and non-mowing yard work. Not liking the Zero Turn (dug up the lawn too much) we sold that and purchased a Simplicity to do mowing and yard work. The 520H was relegated to snow blowing because we didn't need another tractor and no longer cared to convert it every spring and fall. Last year we purchased the Original Cab snow cab. We still have the deck but sold the grader blade a while back. We will be keeping it until we move off the airstrip.

Hear ya there. Sure does make for some fast mowing but every ZT I make with it the deck wheels dig in and leave a divot. Works good for knocking mole hills tho.  Now why would they not put casters on the deck!?!?! I suppose some higher end machines do. May sell it not much to mow anyway.

Maybe someday, but I’m not done playing with it yet.

I think I’m going a different route now. I’m considering making it my primary snow machine but also my road grader..belly blade and rear 3 point.
I’ll still run a 6 gpm hydraulic pump, running off the pto.
I figure I’ll make a subframe for the attachments.

I bought my 1995 520H in march of 2019 to replace my 1975 C160 Hydro.

i bought it from a member on the forum that lives in Illinois.

The hour meter quit working around 1,110 hrs. I would be safe to say it probably has about 1,500 hrs on it today.

It has had the engine rebuilt and probably has about 60 hrs on it since it was gone through.

The valve seat issue was addressed at that time as well.

It has been a great workhorse. It always starts well even after sitting for a month or more in subzero and freezing weather.

It doesn't use a drop of oil and I'm always amazed at its torque when snowplowing or pushing dirt with my 54 inch blade or mowing deep grass/weeds with the 48"deck.

Only thing I wish is that all my gauges worked. Otherwise it is perfect!

Have you tried to troubleshoot the gauges, and possibly repair or replace ?

I have two 520H's at my MIL's. My FIL got one of them, but I don't know how or when. It has almost 630 hours and to my knowledge has only had the kwik-way loader on it. He had no other attachments. A couple of years ago I got a second to clear snow. About 790 hours on the clock. It had the 2 stage snowblower attached and also came with a good 60" mower deck and a hardly used rototiller.neither is a beauty like some of the others I see in this thread, but both do an honest day's work. Maybe someday they'll get the TLC they deserve but in the meantime I'll work them, keep the oil changed, zerks greased, other maintenance done, gas fresh, and mouse nests cleared.
