JCM 10,170 #5 Posted July 4, 2019 As long as we take good care of those who depend on us, and treat everyone the way we like to be treated and pay our bills I don't see why we can't have as many toys as we want. 7 1

ZXT 2,401 #10 Posted July 5, 2019 I have 3 Horses, 8 trucks, 7 cars, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't need, and I'm only 22! Doesn't sound anything like a midlife crisis to me, just someone who doesn't have enough stuff! You'd need to go out and buy a brand new corvette or a Harley for it to be a midlife crisis. 3
JCM 10,170 #11 Posted July 5, 2019 @ZXT At the rate your going for a youngin your going to need a very large pole barn or a collection of portable garages strewn about your yard, your definitely on a roll, don't stop now. 1

ZXT 2,401 #13 Posted July 5, 2019 Just now, JCM said: @ZXT At the rate your going for a youngin your going to need a very large pole barn or a collection of portable garages strewn about your yard, your definitely on a roll, don't stop now. That's exactly my plan! I'm well on my way to becoming a hoarder, and I'm OK with that. Many of the cars I have I view as future collectibles that I got for next to nothing. I'm not attached to them, and would gladly sell them for the right amount. There are only a couple I wouldn't sell. My father has around 100 cars, and he tells me I need to slow down. He didn't have but 5 or 6 cars when he was my age, but he still has his first car, 45 years later. I plan to be able to say the same. I recently took down a 36x110' shop for a guy, and I plan to put it up when I buy some land. 1
JCM 10,170 #14 Posted July 5, 2019 I like your way of thinking, seems you have a great mentor that being your dad, listen to him and hold sacred his wisdom and enjoy him while he is still here,I lost my dad when I was 25 and not a day goes by that I don't miss him, he had some nice cars as well, he loved the 70's Mopars with the Big Blocks in them.
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,370 #15 Posted July 5, 2019 Don’t sound like a problem to me...I’ve got 4 trucks (and looking for a 5th) a motorhome and a camper, 6 Wheel Horses, a Choremaster walk behind, and a Ford 9n I just bought. And always on the lookout for more toys, can’t have too many

Herder 2,355 #17 Posted July 5, 2019 By the sounds of things my midlife crisis must have started around the age of 16 and now at 45 I am not convinced it will ever end. Don't sweet the small stuff Randy buy all the things you like and enjoy, live life to the fullest.

953 nut 59,738 #19 Posted July 5, 2019 Mid-life is just a distant bluer in my rear-view mirror unless I live to be as old as Methuselah, but I still need (want) more toys!
McGrew 461 #20 Posted July 5, 2019 Tool Crib, I do not think bowl turning has anything to do with a mid-life crisis... I had my crisis years ago, and still have some of the toys that came wit it. I did not start turning bowls until well after the crisis passed. Some of my work below: Danny 2
SPINJIM 1,986 #21 Posted July 5, 2019 I'm two tractors ahead, but two trucks behind. That's why I have trouble hauling my tractors. Do two boats count??? Jim
Stormin 9,984 #22 Posted July 5, 2019 I'd like to have a mid life crisis, but I don't think there's much chance of that now.
