formariz 11,902 #806 Posted June 6, 2019 This is an accessory of an important tool that I use in my shop. It is not a power tool or machine. I have a few of those tools and this accessory. This one obviously not used often. The tool in question is not only ingenious but an important part of The American Industrial Revolution as one of its great inventions that contributed in helping with the manafacturing of many other items.

Can we have the size and is it cast iron? It almost looks like plastic.

LengerichKA88 1,881 #814 Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) Looks like it belongs to some type of press. The four corner holes having guide rods through them, with the flat side down, and the piece sticking off the back connecting to/being a handle or connection whatever makes it travel. If they were a bit cheaper and easier to come by, I'd consider it! Probably be better suited for a JD or a Cub Cadet since they usually have the engine sitting the correct way.
