If the H60 Tecumseh was factory on it, I would say 604 (recoil start only)  or 654 (electric start).  :)

:WRS:  Does the ID/serial number tag happen to be on the tractor yet? I believe that it would be on the rear hood support, might even have the shift pattern on it. This would help to verify what the tractor is.

:text-welcomeconfetti: @raywilson12!  It appears the belt guard was trimmed a bit for operation with the Briggs engine.  If you go back to the Tecky you might want to find a full length guard or add to that one.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Maybe take a pic if the engine and the numbers...otherwise it’s hard to tell.

@pullstart The guard  was cut and drilled to accommodate home made runing boards, a gas pedal, and a centrifugal clutch for 5 yr old me. i put it back as much as i could.... but if you look close the pedals are about 3in back from the factory position. id like to fix it though... speaking of which.. anyone have a picture of the original mounts and maybe measurement of the guard?

You might be better off looking for a frame to swap in, if the 5/8” solid bars were cut and moved...  it sounds like you have/had quite the uncle, and now you’ve got all the support community you’ve ever needed for all things Wheel Horse!
