Why else would I be a 2 year Supporter if I didn't believe this was the premier Wheel Horse site, when the other sites are free??? However, that doesn't mean there's not at least about half dozen FB Wheel Horse sites that aren't worthy of staying in touch with, at least occasionally. If you or others know nothing of them and their content, I feel you shortchange your view of the world of Wheel Horses. As a matter of fact, none of you would likely have clue about the content I listed under the subject header of this thread, if I hadn't brought it to your attention here. As an example, @19richie66 started a FB site devoted exclusively to Wheel Horse 953 / 1054 / GT14 Owners, and I feel it is very beneficial for those owners to have a very specific place to discuss problems, watch restorations, and seek out, sell, and buy parts specific to the models covered by that site. Since I'm a one model owner (GT 14), that might explain some of my admiration for his site. That's some of the specificity I especially appreciate and enjoy, found outside this realm. Other particularly noteworthy FB Wheel Horse related sites IMO are: - Wheel Horse Junkies - Wheel Horse Garden Tractors and Parts - wheel horse tractors show and sell ! - Old Kohler Engines Just one man's opinion and my worth. I don't care what the subject matter is, there's always more to learn beyond one's own knowledge base, tight knit community, and experience. Learning continues throughout your life until the day you die. You don't learn everything you know from one source. The more one learns and knows, the more you realize how much you don't know. There's always something new to discover just around the corner, or in the next thread to be read. Regards, Steve 1 1
19richie66 17,624 #30 Posted March 6, 2019 I love this place, don’t get me wrong. I only made the Facebook page to gather together owners of my favorite tractors into one place(with others that are not on here.... yet😁). While I love many different tractors, these are my favorite. A lot of the guys on there are not members here but I try to tell as many on there about this place when they are looking for info or help. Just trying to keep up and learn a thing or two. 3
