1990Onan520-H 15 #1 Posted January 27, 2019 Hey all, I'm looking to rebuild my 1990 520h with 845 hours. She chucked a rod through the block so the original engine is junk. I've got a 91 with 1245 hours that runs but has low compression and possibly has a valve seat issue. Rear cylinder is 30psi and the front is 90. I was thinking of rebuilding the 91's engine for my 90 before anything really bad happens to it as well. I would want to replace all sensors, gaskets and any wear parts possible when rebuilding. I need a reliable machine and want to do it once and do it right. Are all of these parts still available or am I stuck with used? I would also like to put in new upgraded rods if they can be had.
