roadapples 6,983 #26 Posted January 24, 2019 I've seen it used for grounds also. My phone won't let me send pics. Says not enough memory and I just put a 32gb card in it. Anyone lend me a grandkid?

Sarge 3,465 #30 Posted January 25, 2019 My '74 is exactly the same way - I do remember the fuel line clamp being in that end hole as well. It's buried out in the storage unit, otherwise, I could get a picture. Sarge
clueless 3,272 #31 Posted January 25, 2019 Eric, On my '77 C160 the long bolt holds the choke cable clamp, and I believe it is the original clamp and cable. On my '77 B80 the bolt and clamp are missing but it looks like the cable was attached there to a some point. Also on the B80 it looks like the fuel line and choke cable may have been connected together there with the wiring harness running along the inside of the channel. I'll try to get some pic tomorrow with the wife's phone, my 10 year old flip phone won't do it . 2

Us old fellows don't upgrade anything unless it's broke, or the provider PO's Off! I did change almost everything after my wife died, and none of it was broke, TV, internet, cell phone. land line. I had been unhappy with ever one of them except the cell phone. My wife had been having the cell phone payment taken out of a charge card. I call them up and ask them to send me a bill that I would pay them. They kept taking it out of the card. I stopped that I canceled the card. Still had to go to the office with a death certificate, so I cancel both phones. 1
Sarge 3,465 #34 Posted January 26, 2019 I went through the same thing with my Dad - found out they were still automatically billing him for his long-passed wife's phone, which had not been powered up in almost 5yrs. He still had paperwork from just after she passed with his request to cancel - so they had to back pay all of the charges from that date to his estate. Took an attorney to get it done, but he just threw it in along with the other estate processing work he did for us - AT&T had to repay a pretty big sum when it was all done. Don't want to rant too much, but many of the phone utilities and others are just criminals with enough power to get the rules bent to support their profits - that needs to stop. I'm curious as to how long this bracket was used on the C-series tractors - I know it's on my first year '74 and suspect it was used all the way up until they changed them to the black hood style. Seems like quite a few have gotten lost to history, or owners taking things apart and having spare parts left over, without care. Sarge
