WHX?? 51,806 #2 Posted September 26, 2018 I know squat about techys EB, other than the lone one I got runs pretty good but smokes like the devil! Mike @squonk might know abit about them? 1
pfrederi 18,696 #3 Posted September 26, 2018 Probably limited selection as WH used 1" cranks most other techy users had 3/4" Probably will have to find a ex WH motor. There is no nice crank manual for Techy like the Kohler one

pfrederi 18,696 #5 Posted September 26, 2018 The 1" goes into the bearing end plate so it is 1" oil seal and I assume bearing. I have no idea if 3/4inch crank ends were turned down after the bearing end plate or back into the end plate and bearing itself. You would have to search model numbers of donor engines and see if the oil seal is the same part number as the one on the wheel horse model.

Thank you sir.

It was on it's 4th motor and sixth carb

It would be nice to get this Tecumseh back up and running again. At that point I'll just take the Briggs back off and set it aside for a future project of some sort or another.
