This’ll be a good time to do a grease job and oil change!  I just ran the grease gun out of the Red-N-Tacky so I’ll load a new one in the morning and get after it.

I did a little tear down.  The exhaust needed to be tightened another turn.  When I built this, I never ran many heat cycles before hitting the road for my 2018 Big Show.  So, the engine needed to come loose to run another turn into the head.

I lightened up the counterweight on the tink tink flapper.  Got a little creative with the drill bits.  I kind of see it…

I figured I should snap some pictures of my 8 speed swap details.  I used a 5/8”x3/4” pulley sleeve to run the stock pulley from the 3 speed.

And the brake side.  I believe I bent the brake rod to fit.  This was a C-101 8 speed transmission.  I am not sure what 502 and what C-101 parts I used any more.

Note.  There is no parking brake lever still.

Parking brake for me on most of my stuff such as three wheelers is front wheels turned as far as they can to one direction and that’s usually good enough

like that?  :handgestures-thumbupright:

I wanted to lighten up the back weight and was thinking of different patterns.  I tossed some masking tape on and rudely (:ranting: not crudely @ebinmaine) sketched the horse head and started drilling

If I left all the things that my phone thinks I ought to have said ... I probably would have been in great great trouble by now.

You shoudda seen what autocorrect did with collassal yesterday.  Didn't notice it until i had hit the 'send' button.  I immediately edited it, fearing what the warped minds around here would do with it!

I found this video from 8 years ago.  It seems like it was forever ago, and indeed it’s more than half of my kids’ lives back!  Somehow, it was the first and only video on a YT channel I started.  I never realized I started another one, but here we are.
