Handy Don 16,639 #26176 Posted 1 hour ago Over the past two weeks the 854 got new Firestone Town & Country rear tires. Very pricey but so far they are just what I was hoping for. I took the opportunity to strip and repaint the wheels using the Cottage White (formerly Navajo White). Mounting always leaves marks, so in anticipation of the Big Show, I even did the touchups. Looked so good I got out the can of Regal Red and touched up a bunch of the scratches and scrapes that a worker acquires over time.

I used to use the Navajo white all the time and liked it better than most others but have since went to the Canvass white over red primer, which is just a tad bit "whiter" than Navajo. I have seen the Navajo back on the shelves lately though and may go back. I believe the Cottage white your using looks to be a close match to the Canvas but hard to tell in pics. BTW looks great and really like the rear hides....
peter lena 9,891 #26178 Posted 1 hour ago @sqrlgtr tractor supply has the flat pulleys , as well as no thread shank shoulder bolts ? so the flat pulley can easily spin move , only placement I did was a very slight push in in longest unsupported area , you can barely see the deflexion . flat washer top and bottom of bolt mount , with elastic Lok nut on top side of deck . this set up will also help settle down the spring slide tensioner . done a number of " gold mine repair areas ? " . pto lever set up , mule drive bearing improvement . lots of related to frequent failures , love those ? dicect intended function , and verifi / insure it , plow frame lever swing ease , to / from swing quadrant lever ? thats an awesome gain , good talkin , pete
TonyToro Jr. 2,428 #26179 Posted 5 minutes ago Did the first actual working of the 1257 today. Hooked the land plow up and plowed where I will be attempting to grow a 1000lb pumpkin. I couldn’t get as deep as I wanted since I found out really quick that I need a new belt. But ran great otherwise!
