Ordered filters and will do fluid and greasing before anything. The charging light and mowing in reverse lights stay on so I will need to resolve those also. Best thing, no buyers remorse. Congrats on the purchase! If you haven’t already, I’d suggest checking out that front axle pivot pin. You’ll need to jack up the tractor by the frame to check for slop. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/92609-xi-series-front-axle-pivot-repair/

I have a very steep driveway and at 66 it is difficult to get the heavy trash cans to the curb. Worked better than expected and I still get joy out of driving my grandfather's tractor he purchased new. BTW this is how I learned to drive! that’s a sweet paint job, on Grandpa’s old tractor! 2

Bar Nuthin 3,059 #26732 Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Picked up some HEAVY Bolens front cast iron weights. They had "BOLENS" cast into the face, so I filled them with some JB Weld. Decided while I was painting them, that my JD rear weights needed to be red too! Now all my iron weights are red. Just one set of plastic fronts are the odd-balls now. Started doing a little prep work for an upcoming parade in our local festival. Edited 1 hour ago by Bar Nuthin
