Handy Don 16,667 #26176 Posted yesterday at 10:44 PM Over the past two weeks the 854 got new Firestone Town & Country rear tires. Very pricey but so far they are just what I was hoping for. I took the opportunity to strip and repaint the wheels using the Cottage White (formerly Navajo White). Mounting always leaves marks, so in anticipation of the Big Show, I even did the touchups. Looked so good I got out the can of Regal Red and touched up a bunch of the scratches and scrapes that a worker acquires over time. 4

I used to use the Navajo white all the time and liked it better than most others but have since went to the Canvass white over red primer, which is just a tad bit "whiter" than Navajo. I have seen the Navajo back on the shelves lately though and may go back. I believe the Cottage white your using looks to be a close match to the Canvas but hard to tell in pics. BTW looks great and really like the rear hides....
peter lena 9,893 #26178 Posted yesterday at 11:26 PM @sqrlgtr tractor supply has the flat pulleys , as well as no thread shank shoulder bolts ? so the flat pulley can easily spin move , only placement I did was a very slight push in in longest unsupported area , you can barely see the deflexion . flat washer top and bottom of bolt mount , with elastic Lok nut on top side of deck . this set up will also help settle down the spring slide tensioner . done a number of " gold mine repair areas ? " . pto lever set up , mule drive bearing improvement . lots of related to frequent failures , love those ? dicect intended function , and verifi / insure it , plow frame lever swing ease , to / from swing quadrant lever ? thats an awesome gain , good talkin , pete
TonyToro Jr. 2,437 #26179 Posted 23 hours ago Did the first actual working of the 1257 today. Hooked the land plow up and plowed where I will be attempting to grow a 1000lb pumpkin. I couldn’t get as deep as I wanted since I found out really quick that I need a new belt. But ran great otherwise! 6
AlexR 2,952 #26180 Posted 22 hours ago Replaced the ammeter on my one tractor, the one I replaced was a new one but it was a 30 amp gauge which is a bit high for these tractors and the needle just went everywhere with the vibrations. This one works much better! 5
Fj40z 80 #26181 Posted 21 hours ago Did a little more mowing this evening, really enjoyed operating it for a hour or so. The Toro zero turn seat is turning out to be very comfortable, the thought of an original seat is mighty tempting though. 4

Given the scarcity of original seats i never give fault for deviating from orginal. I do get a charge and draw the line at boat seats tho. 1

Last year my grandpa taught me how to crank start a tractor and he said pretty much that same thing along with don't grip the handle with your thumb to prevent injury from kick back, just make a cup shape with all of your hand and pull up. 4
Bar Nuthin 2,496 #26184 Posted 6 hours ago My neighbor finally broke out his slot hitch plow and busted through the pack layer - then followed up with the tiller. Here is my new (to me) C-160 Auto leveling things out. A little later, we decided to get the herds together for a group photo. You can tell they're all workers. 2
C100guy94 88 #26185 Posted 3 hours ago Started putting the deck on for my first time. The one in backround has always been good to me and me and Buddy's have done lots of beating mudd bogging and cut a lot of land with it but she's just had it. So time to utilize the c100 for the reason I bought it. To work it like a horse 3
