What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

Yes, just pump it a few times and you will see the fuel filter fill up then you can start the tractor.

It should start quickly at this point.

You can then remove it and install the regular fuel cap.

And as a bonus, you only need one so long as all your tractors use the same fuel cap.

I'm gonna order some cheap caps and squeeze bulbs from the jungle site and see if I can come up with a system that will stay on the tractor.  I'm thinking the cheap bulbs might hold up for awhile since they won't have more than fumes inside.  I keep the tractors in 3 or 4 locations so installing the systems on each should save me considerable walking over having just one.  Of course I will need a filter and a mounting position that prevents water and dirt from entering, plus a quick disconnect for the air line.

@lynnmor  have had  fuel check valves ,https://www.google.com/search?q=fuel+check+valve+5%2F16&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS866US866&oq=&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqGwgAEAAYQhiRAhi0AhjqAhiABBiMB  on all my engines , with a  standing / clear   line holding point close to carb , for years , there is no doubt  of its  holing ability  , also  make sure that your related  , choke / cable  runs  , function  without any  fault , that choke  , full plate hold , has to be  enhancing piston draw , have also  hydraulic  oil , super lubed  all my cables , no dry scraping  noise , also added  spring assist  , a regular  , tweaked  horse set up for me , stay at it  , pete

Keep us posted on what you come up with.

This one's in the shop now for multiple hydraulic leaks. Maybe try and clean up some hose mess.

I think it was @Handy Don was asking about hard lines once and at the time I thought he was nutz. He ain't lookin too crazy now.

Also fuel delivery issues including either electric pump or your route.

Doing some mid season maint/inspection on the 702. Relocated exhaust because it was originally turned down towards the snowblower controls. Used whatever pipe/connectors I had. Didn't wanna drive out in the rain to get parts......all the cars are washed & clean in garage 😆

Also installed some rear wheel weights that I cant even remember where they came from. There's only 2 bolt holes in weights & of course only 1 hole lines up. They really fit well into the rim tightly so I think just the 1 bolt is enough because they they fit so good.

Got my latest C-160-8 to pop off today.  Think she was auctioned off because starter motor was bad.  Fixed some wiring issues replaced starter and she popped.. ( can't spray carb cleaner and film at the same time:P)  This is the tractor with the unique K 431 engine.  :P

Turns out fuel pump doesn't pump.  Runs pretty well with gravity feed.  Not sure what I want to do with her yet.  Do not have any validated requirement for another C-160-8

Wanted to clean the new to me C-145auto but the garage was 28 degrees and it was even colder outside.
So just a scraping, shop-vac and rag cleaning today. Also installed a belt engage/disengage lever (completely missing!)

I don't have a C-160 but I do have a C-120/180.  If I subtract the 20 from the 80 does that make it a C-160.

Howd you get that so clean without a pressure washer Sparky? Just the shop vac? Hard to believe. What's your secret?

Plastic scraper, flat blade screwdriver (being careful to not take the paint off), rags and elbow grease. No cleaning chemicals or even water.
This spring I’ll remove the fender and guards and all and it’s get a proper pressure washing.

I put a winch on the dedicated snow machine. I hurt for 2 days anymore using the manual lift. I do about 3/8 mile of drives.

How do you prevent the winch from overlifting and breaking stuff?  I learned the hard way till I added a spring.

Ive plowed 3 times Ed and no problems yet. I just hit the button real quick and it lifts about 3 inches. Which is what my manual lift did. It has the wireless remote. As soon as you let off the button it stops. Fingers crossed.
