If you are referring to the slotted gadget pinned to the lower back of the transaxle housing, it is called a slot hitch. Idea is that the implement has a tongue the gets inserted into the slot and held with the pin dropped through. Your basic cart may only need a basic drawbar hitch which attaches to the tractor in the same place but has a simple tongue sticking straight out with a hole in it. Lots of folk use this with a ball for towing light loads. AtoZ tractors (see the vendor page) will have both of these as well as a third type called a sleeve hitch. I installed them today and they are worth every $$$ I spent on them when I mounted my fluid filled tires.. While I was at it I rewired the headlights and installed new headlights. The headlights were in my Dad's building and he got them in the early 1980's from the local Sear's Catalog store that had an automotive department. Perfect for the shop. Now he has something to watch other than me fix his car! Maybe he'll bring a nice recliner chair next?
