The fenders came with the C-101 that I picked up Sunday. Don't worry about your fender supply, I'm thinkin' that a set of 520 fenders might look even better on it.

@PeacemakerJack

AWESOME.

But Stefan's got a valid point.

You need to get more Horses now...

Been a somewhat productive summer. Haven't gotten all the house chores done yet but have gotten several gt,s going. Just yesterday I finally finished the exhaust on my 416-8 with the BF Onan. Been tinkering with this off and on since last summer.

Now I am jumping on my yardpro steering issues, then my 1949 Simplicity L walk behind and over the winter I am getting my C-121 back to its old glory.

Picked up a new Tig welder to help with the repairs.

it would be super cool to see you start repair threads in the Other Brands section. Or maybe they are already there?

Because Zach isn’t old enough to have his own account yet...I’m posting this one for him...but it is a BIG ONE.

He got to drive his GT-14 named “Blackbeard” for the very first time today—SOLO!  He was so stoked! He has owned it for three full years but it has been too tired to do much for the last two years.  We just finished repowering it with a monster Magnum 16 and he loves it.

Just like that and he was gone to investigate the back acreage!  What’s better than a boy and his horse?

Woo Hoo!  Great work guys and nice job wheelin’ it Zach!

I will be sure to put one together for the Simplicity walk behind and some others that I have. Thanks for the suggestion.

The engine knocks and rattles on the old girl have been bugging me for years now. So I figured I’d see what closing the point gap would do. She got a brand new plug too. 👍

Dialed them back to 0.016 runs very smooth and a lot quieter. I know for sure now I have a loose camshaft and piston slap.

Time to start hiding $$ for a rebuild. 😁😇2D0F2D4E-AAF4-424D-A252-A87BDA6F2A6E.jpeg.691ec13aeaefdfda3152a36074f1a9e7.jpeg82B6E395-5412-4C1D-B661-38F614B336E2.jpeg.65a9d0edc4f4e8218faf2bd69fff2ed6.jpeg

I put on the parts I needed to build a new 42” RD deck for my resurrected horse. Thanks to 76c12091520h I got the new pulleys installed. A quick trip to TSC for a drive belt cause the last deck I had on was a SD and I guess they’re different. I got to mow my little yard for the first time in 5 yrs with the tractor! It’s crazy overkill for my little yard but it’s fun. I had to layout the stuff in the yard so it’s easier to mow 😂

Happy Labor Day all! Have a great weekend. Hang tight Floridians!

There is an underground bunker somewhere on @AMC RULES property.

Didn’t do anything to any horse but did install my E-track in the horse hauler.

Here are the plans

Yours looks nicer with the rounded off ends.

I pressed brass bushings into the rollers as they were worn.

After a few mowings they start to squeak a bit so I drilled and tapped a roller shaft for greasing.

I will install this one and see how it works before doing the rest.

I got to work on the HY pump I got from Lane.

I only got the pump head, which was a PU-100-B, to replace my damaged PU-100. There are some minor differences, like the location of the fluid level plug, and apparently the bore diameter for the spool valve. If I worked it and used a little swinging persuasion I could get the valve in the hole, but it was too tight and it would bind up tight. Half an hour with a drill and a brake hone and the valve now works in easy, spins by hand, but is good and tight to the bore.

The odd thing is that even though the roll pin and snap ring both sit where they should the legs of both of my return springs don't seem to sit in their holes very deep, almost as if the inner face sits at a different depth. Unfortunately the fit is shallow enough that one foot always pops out, which means I need a new spring.
