Yeah, bu77sh1t.

Translation: It wouldn't run with a day tank hanging from the hood latch.

My Chevy, being a 22 year old is a “classic”.

Hope you all don’t mind me posting it in this “vintage” thread…

Anywho, I washed it for the first time in a long time…

It could be in better shape I’m sure, but I still think it looks good for a classic… especially the interior…

Pics 2, 6, and 9 was before I wiped down the interior with West Coast Customs Auto Detailer… good stuff .

Wow!, that really is a classic. The previous owners of that truck definitely took care of it!

Sadly this one is no longer with us, it was in the right place.......58 or 59. Spotted on my Wednesday lunchtime stroll thru my companies' scrap yard

Thank you sir for the compliment. I bought it in 2000 from original owner. He kept it spotless ! I could tell from the looks of his house that he did not “use” it as a truck, and neither did I for a long time. I would not haul anything but groceries in it. I have always kept bath towels over the seats and carpet. And then extra mats over the floor mats…

She is definitely starting to show her age, but she has been good to me.

She will be bringing me to the Big Show this year with either a 520H in her bed, and a Work House in a 10 x 6 trailer, or both in the trailer.

I need to replace the dash. ( From what I’ve seen on YouTube, that is going to be a job)

While I have the dash out I may take the instrument cluster to an electronic shop that rebuilds them. My gas gauge always reads full, and a few of the bulbs are burned out. I just use my odometer/ trip odometer to tell me when she’s thirsty.

It's a customer of mine,(my dentist). I am dialing it in for him. Was part of a large Chevy truck collection that was sold at auction a few years ago. This was one of the higher mileage ones.

When I was at the dentist they would talk about their vacation plans and ask me about mine- small talk while they tortured me…

Their plans usually involved something like a jet airplane and a ski trip to Switzerland… mine were a beach trip…

about it

Resto mod no doubt.

I don't think it came with the cutouts in the hood to clear the radiator.

That's a shame they couldn't come up with a solution that didn't involve carnage.
