slim67  I have had many of these. They are great little tractors. Never should sold the last one I had. Life's lesions.

As always , thanks for your comments guys. I don't feel bad since what I spent on my last three is still less than I would have spent on the CHEAPEST lawn tractor at Home Depot. I  saw the lowest priced one around 1,100 dollars . I think about that every once in awhile when I begin to wonder what I'm doing with all these tractors. But I've always had more than one .

You can't ever have to many Horses, or even tractors in general. I'm up to 3 Horses and a Deere :hide: now, and nowhere near done building my collection. Nice score on the B80, the flames definitely add a unique touch to it.

Lol good point. The flames need to be extinguished I'm afraid.

:text-coolphotos:           Those flames look like the vinyl ones they sell at auto parts stores; if so they will come off clean with very little work.

A very nice B80 indeed. It has a nice original looking patina that I would hate to see disturbed when it is in such nice condition. As for the flames, at this point

I think I would leave them because they represent the entire history of the tractor's journey through its ownership and personal touches of previous owners. They all tell part of the story of this tractor's past, or, this might just be a lot of hokum. Either way, the flames have grown on me. If I had the money I would offer to buy the hood and fender pan so I could put them on another unit in the future. Looking forward to see how it turns out after your revisions. :)

Yeah, the flames don't look that bad to me.  I would probably leave them on for a while at least then remove them later.

Wait till you subscribe to CL notifications in interstate searches for wheel and horse and wheelhorse then you will know you have a real problem!

Nice tractor & everyone here should have a B series! They are just plain old handy!

I vote leave the flames, looks like they were somewhat tastefully done and like Jimmy D said gives character.

@Oldarmy's B-80 here slim ...looks to be a real dandy as well!

Well i guess the flames stay. Some very interesting perspectives i didnt think about. These are painted on 953, not vinyl, but they were done by hand supposedly. Its a nice old machine and will have a good home.

If you look for my post titled "New old guy here" you can see the pictures. It's been restored so it's pretty nice shape. I guess we can learn together about these.
