New rule here @Digger 66??? The question giver must elaborate on the correct answer, In other words Bob why does a chicken have three eye lids?!?!?! Ok here we go.... finally some thing I know a (damn) little about.... Hmmm lets see ...lets stay with the bird. What came first the chicken or the egg? NAWWW just kidding! Lets go Nautical... rmaynard 15,936 #104 Posted February 21, 2017 Chicken eyelids...one upper, one lower, and a membrane that goes vertically. The upper and lower are open most of the day, and the third one keeps the eye moist. The three eyelid question was from Trivial Pursuit. I don't remember what edition, but it's one question and answer that has stuck in my head for decades. My grandmother used to raise chickens. You'd think that she would have taught me that, but no, I spent my time shoveling chicken s**t and gathering eggs.

I think it's a good idea but for fear of putting the last nail in this thread's coffin , let's skip it . In what year did the first United States nuclear powered submarine get underway? This just proves that I'm not using the Google crutch . Thank you for the info ! What caught my attention was that I had a 1966 Chevy Nova back in the early 70's. What a cool car. My curiosity was aroused so I did do a search with no intentions of spilling the beans until somebody got the intended answer. I think it's fair to say that Richard was 100% right because the Chevy II name was dropped and they all were Novas after that. So morph it is! This thread is cool. A mix of Wheel Horse, cars, space, and other fun things. Look at the things we are learning.
