I would add a couple more, both of which my wife uses on the rare occasions she doesn't feel it necessary to control her emotions: "FUDGE" and "BLOODY". I personally find "BLOODY" more offensive than some of the words I use on a semi-regular basis, but what the **** do I know? There's also a bit of irony in the Triple Play listed at the bottom of the list. Have you ever heard any of Bob Saget's stand-up routines? And oh yeah, this all just reminded me of a TV commercial that aired years ago. I don't remember the actual product (rarely do), but it was some sort of quick meal-in-a-box product. The pretty young Southern housewife is serving this whatever to her family, everybody's smiling, the narrator explains how convenient and nutritious and tasty the meal is, and our housewife smiles and says sweetly "And I didn't do diddly!". That was the original version. It was cute, as TV ads go, and sounded harmless enough. But apparently somebody decided it was offensive, because the last line was shortly replaced by "And I didn't do squat!". To me that sounded more crude, and the words just didn't flow as smoothly as the original version, but it stayed. It's hard to figure why certain words just get us upset and others don't. ACman 7,655 #12 Posted February 4, 2017 My son is 19 and doesn't swear or any of my kids for that matter . (didn't get it from me) and when he's mad he'll yell out a sentence. Right at the moment a cuss word is supposed to fly out he'll pause at that moment and keep going . I've tried to do it and can't no matter how hard I try . To many years on a farm dealing with dumb animals,machine shop and construction I guess .
