Rectifier diodes

Recommended Posts

Hello, Newbie here,

well I'm actually a train collector but did some trading and picked up this little guy. Need some help in locating diodes for the charging system.

Shes a 1960 550 Suburban with a 5.5 Lason engine. Check my photo and tell me what you think.

In case you don't know what they look like

Being a model railroader I suspect you could make a couple if you had a pair of 6 amp diodes. Guessing the original assembly was similar to the dimensions of a fuse.

I believe @formariz Cas may have some diodes. Try sending him a PM.

Very nice condition tractor. That looks like a dealer sticker on the hood, Is that paint original?

Wow, Thanks for the big welcome. I did find some diodes on eBay. I should have them soon. I'm still having some carb problems, she runs okay for about 2miniutes then stalls. I also can't seem to get the idle up higher. Cables move okay could be float. Cleaned carb out must need to do a better job. I'll post the attachments that came with it soon. Thanks guys,
