amorris88 0 #1 Posted May 23, 2016 We are thinking of selling our '84 310-8. It will idle but that is all, it's having a carb issue, and has lived outside so it's not prestine or anything. What is a good price range? I'm in southern Missouri so it won't be super high I know.

N3PUY 1,031 #3 Posted May 23, 2016 I just purchased a 310-8 this weekend. No deck, some rust, wrong seat bracket but with a good seat, undersized rear tires (12-6), 2 year old battery, no lights or bezels, but it does run good. Owner said $150 .... I gave him $150. And got 2 extra rear wheels.
slammer302 2,156 #4 Posted May 23, 2016 I sold one pretty much in the same condition that you described for $150 and it didn't sell very quickly. Good luck
muz123 1,192 #5 Posted May 23, 2016 310's are not in high demand at all. 150 is a good price. Its just they lack in power and you can only put a 42" on them.
amorris88 0 #6 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) @KC9KAS, thank you!! @N3PUY, the condition of ours is about like yours but we do have a deck with normal sized tires. When it is running, it's a beast! Edited May 23, 2016 by amorris88
can whlvr 994 #7 Posted May 24, 2016 not to be picky but they didn't make the 310 in 84,85 was the first year and good luck with your sale
amorris88 0 #8 Posted May 24, 2016 well maybe it's an 86 then!
jay bee 914 #9 Posted May 24, 2016 If it has been living outside, and not run in awhile, the first thing I would do is empty the fuel tank and put some fresh fuel in it. Also check the fuel filter. It may just be a fuel problem, not a carb problem. Might make it easier to sell. Jim
amorris88 0 #10 Posted May 24, 2016 Thank you but I'm pretty sure it's not. I came looking on this site late last summer and again earlier this summer. Everything I've found says the jets are clogged. We have drained the fuel repeatedly and it doesn't make a difference. It will start and run but you can't do more than just idle.
