AMC RULES 36,945 #1 Posted April 3, 2016 Been all but seventy degrees here the past couple days... but, today they're calling for some sixty mile an hour winds. When I looked out the window this morning, I found this instead. I hear the big winds are starting to pick up now though... better batton down them hatches boys-n-girls...

squonk 38,942 #3 Posted April 3, 2016 Better get that driveway plowed before it drifts too high! We got the same amount with wet roads. The state keeps driving by with the blade down. Maybe their getting a head start on fixing the road!
Wishin4a416 2,189 #4 Posted April 3, 2016 We got an inch here overnight. Im afraid to go up back and look at the fields/woods from the high winds. I had them all cleaned up and ready for the mower.

DougC 2,641 #11 Posted April 3, 2016 We suffered through the high winds here yesterday. I was supposed to get new gutters installed on my house. When the gutter crew ( 2 Mexicans, only 1 spoke English...... YIKES... ) showed up we were talking about the job when a gust of wind blew him off his feet and made me stagger backwards a few steps. The other guy got out of the cube van ranting something in Mexican and then grabbed his friend and stated shaking his head no, apparently terrified that he would get blown off the ladder and fall to his death or end up in the land of OZ.... I asked to have the job done at a later date and of course that was fine with them.
