stevasaurus 22,246 #3 Posted October 14, 2015 I know a bunch and some are relatives in Wisconsin...they live a good life...but they live from year to year...they have some good years and some bad years...they have had to adapt to crops and prices, etc. My relatives were into dairy farming when I was a kid. Kind of still are, but they have moved into Turkeys. More money, but more regulation. They are doing OK, but I wonder how long they can go...there is no retirement for them...you have to have kids that pick up the slack and move in. My relatives have that, but not all do.
