DennisThornton 4,771 #1 Posted August 23, 2015 (edited) I know there was a Member Search feature and that feature is expected again but until then, anyone live near Peru, NY? Or Plattsburgh? Glens Falls? Burlington? I bought some stuff from Baerpath, and SO very glad I did but it took about 3 hours one way! Would be nice to know if another enthusiast lived within a couple of hours or closer? Edited August 23, 2015 by DennisThornton Fall to Falls

WNYPCRepair 1,923 #9 Posted August 23, 2015 Cool! You and I have even more in common! When's the last time you swapped out a board on one of your WHs? I barely have time to mow the lawn. I had a whole list of things to do in the yard this summer. The wife's broken thigh put all that on hold.

I've been keeping an eye on you! <grin> You got some stuff I like and you aren't that far away!I've made 2 trips to Alburg for WH stuff. Been through many a time!My youngest son worked at Mangia's. Unfortunately for unknown to me reasons, they closed. Great food and seemed busy, but...Thanks for the shout! Cool! You and I have even more in common! A real schedule buster!Oh, I was poking fun at "swapping boards"!Good luck to you and yours! Some things will just have to wait! (I'm still trying to catch up...) WNYPCRepair 1,923 #11 Posted August 23, 2015 I was just thinking today about putting an 8" touch screen and a mobile PC in one, but couldn't think of any good reason. Don't really need GPS. I could use it for music, I guess, but it really seems like s lot of work just for music. It it would be hard to find a spot for the monitor too

DennisThornton 4,771 #15 Posted August 24, 2015 @Forest Road: We both live in the same Park! But I guess with 6 million acres that doesn't really make us neighbors...Where abouts in the AP? I think SaveOldIron just photoshopped (painted?) that display to represent what a display might look like if it were implemented.I have not had a chance to do anything with my ideas yet. I have two little ones running around taking away much of my project time.
