KC9KAS 4,741 #1 Posted August 25, 2014 Just read an article in the newspaper about the Farmers Almanac calling for another winter like last year for 3/4 of the USA....Everything East of the Rockies. Last fall , where we ride our wheelers , there's a spot we like to stop & have a cigar or whatever & right around the end of Sept . as you looked out over the valley , the trees seemed to have a greyish color to them . Turns out it was an unusually high number of Tent Caterpillars . I don't know if it means anything , but it sure was Ironic ..... Let's hope for LOTS of snow & cold weather . RMCIII 838 #5 Posted August 25, 2014 I'm just thinking that if it is like this again, , but wow did I put some hours on the horse. If it is like last winter, I will be looking well over 360hrs...
