Belts for 312-H

PLEASE!!!! can someone can help me find the part number for a belt I need before I go crazy? 

 

I just bought a Wheel Horse Classic. I believe the year is 1990 and the tractor model # is 31-12KE01 . The model # on the deck is 1548SC02. The belt that runs from the mower deck to the PTO to the two small front pullies located toward the front of the tractor broke the first time I used it.  I was then sold a drive belt (I believe is what it's called) and that part number was 7473 but it can't be the correct belt because it is way too short. What does that belt go to? Does it sit horizontally on the top of the deck?  Are there only two belts total for this tractor?

 

I have looked at every website diagram I can find and do not see the belt I need.  I've been given about 5 different numbers and can't afford to waste $$$ again ordering the wrong one. I also downloaded the manual but all it tells me is to "install belt in inner grove if using the mower" (which is what I am using (mower deck) since I don't have any attachments.

 

Can someone please help me? Thanks so much to whoever responds!

According to Partstree.com 7473 is your transmission drive belt.

Go to that sight and enter your deck model #. It does list both belts.

New belts typically last several years. It's money well spent.

I'm sorry but I honestly don"t know very much about tractors. Is the belt I described in my post that I need the transmission drive belt?

7473 is the drive belt for the same model tractor with an 8-speed gear transmission.

The hydro transmission model you have uses transmission drive belt 108501.

 

The parts lists are often shared by similar models and the online versions often fail to identify what model uses what. In this case the belt charts are the best to use.

i do have the hydro stay model so I'm good on transmission belt

but can't locate deck belt on parts tree using deck # 1548SC02 and 21675. Any idea what the deck belt # would be?

Item #41,  v belt 94-2501 or 102742

 

Make sure the 3 blades spin freely and are sharp. Inspect the 3 spindle housing, they should not be broken or loose.

Make sure the deck is mounted correctly ,in the mid mount attach a matic, If it is not, the 102742 v belt will be broke again.

Thank you SO MUCH for the link above!!!  So to summarize, I only need TWO belts. The transmission drive belt 108501 since I have the hydrostat transmission model and then the v belt 94-2501?  Another "poster" mentioned Spindle belt 1594 (1/2" x 107.21") which confused me.

I really appreciate you helping me. And I'm sorry but I'm still confused because under the link you provided above, when I look under "more details" for Toro Part #1594 it doesn't list my specific deck #15-48SC02.     Thank you!

The "More Details" only list a portion of the models it fits. Notice those that are listed are mostly 48" decks. Where a 42" deck is shown that deck shares a parts list with the 48" deck so ends up included but not the correct belt for a 42" deck.
