Nick 13 #5 Posted September 21, 2008 Nice first project with the new welder. Now its time to think of all those attachments you can start buildin. :horseplay: Oh and Im sure you wont miss buying that high dollar flux wire. Plain wire went up bad enough as it is. Last 30 pound roll I got was just over $100.
KyBlue 652 #6 Posted September 21, 2008 nick - Thankfully ive never had to use flux wire... the old welder I was using is a friends, its a 1970 sumpthin Hobart Mig ... Weighs a couple hundred pounds... and I know certified welders who hate that thing..haha the 3200 from Lincoln is shipped setup as a flux welder, but since ive got the gas sittin here from the other welder... might as well use it up! I dont think our Wire has gone up much here...Our 10 lb rolls are still right about 30 bucks..
