East Texas Tractor Show

Recommended Posts

Not for sure where this falls in topics, but look if you want to. Specialwheelhorse Jim would have taken 1st and 2nd place for show but they wouldn't vote wanting to make all feel as had best. We hope in the future more of these shows will come this way. Many good folks, food, parts, implements, and memories! I am still wondering what I'm gonna do with the plow, although have been wanting one since acquired WH in 1981

Ummm, jambalaya, sausage samich, home made ice cream and tractors!

Footnote: Yes I realize this is a WH small tractor forum, but I am proud of our American mechanical engineering ingenuity. I tried to get some of those fine examples, represented pictorially here. Brings back the farm hand days.

Glad ya'll had a great time.  Of course, one of the few shows in East Texas, close to home, and I was working in Central Louisiana!

Nice pics....may have to make that show some day....luv the sign "HOMEMADE ICE CREAM"...too bad its so far away or we would probably have seen a pic of the sign with Eldon standing nearby with an icecream cone in one hand and icecream float in the other hand!!!...sorry if you don't know the story about E and IC at the big show in PA! :ychain:  :icecream:

Bill, Jim and I missed you Dennis. We figured you had to go out of town. S'prised me about some of the Okies that came (semi offensive talk if not an Okie and I am). La does have a big enough WH population an we'd really hoped for at least part of the Noth Central Tex bunch to show up. Bill came across some one who had a heard corralled that may have some good pickens! :woohoo:
