VinsRJ 721 #1 Posted February 26, 2013 (edited) Since making my fiberglass RJ hood I have been making a couple fiberglass parts here and there. Well I told one of my friends that when the resin cures... it can get pretty darn hot... to a point where it sometimes melts the bottoms off the platics mixing cup. As you can see it can get pretty hot! This was taken after it started to cool too. Edited February 26, 2013 by VinsRJ

VinsRJ 721 #7 Posted February 26, 2013 (edited) I'll add hood pics tonight... I'm also working on fiberglass RJ belt guards... I know, I know... not original but my thought process is a lower cost alternative until you are able to find and economical original replacement. Here is a vid with the hood in it... buckrancher 2,678 #9 Posted February 26, 2013 Wish I had known you had that older 55 frame I could have traded you a early 56 for it and I could have used the early frame with tank mount for one of my projects
VinsRJ 721 #10 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Wish I had known you had that older 55 frame I could have traded you a early 56 for it and I could have used the early frame with tank mount for one of my projects Brian, I still have the tank support, all I did was nibble it off the frame with a die-grinder. Quick blast and it would be pretty much mint. I was going to put it up on ebay and see were it goes... interested? Edited February 27, 2013 by VinsRJ
