I'm sceptical that this will ever happen - looks like mass scare mongering, sure the Eu might be trying to bring something in - but who is going to police it?

I think it will just get put on the back burner as another bogger fish will come along...

Better not be too sure that it won't happen, looks to be money in it for parts suppliers and junk dealers. The people in government have plenty of family and cousins that would like a high paying government job.
