Steve and I grew up in the same town. He lived on the other side so we went to different schools. We did play on the same baseball team together when we were around 10. Big Jim was our coach. I never saw Steve or his dad again after that season until I saw his screen name on here with Danbury, CT. were he lived. We reconnected after almost 28 years and when Jim joined here I got to meet him again too. Steve and I live only a few minutes apart and we either talk of go over each others houses all the time so we are even better friends now than we were all those years ago.

Steve, what can I say that I haven't said already. Your dad was a great guy and he will be missed. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call!

Although I didn't know Big Jim that well, he certainly seemed like a great guy. I lost my father back in 01, and miss him dearly. He was the best man at my wedding. Big Jim certaily did a heck of a job raising his son right. RIP Jim, and condolences to your family at this time Steve. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Thanx for the pictures Steve

Hard to look at photos of your family when they pass without getting emotional

also hard to know what to say to give comfort to those that have lost someone dear.

Remember the good times that you had with them

we share your pain Steve as we too may loose or have lost someone so close

god bless

Neil

Steve, it seems like every time I saw your Dad, Uncle Bo was right there too. It wasn't that long ago they were both at my house picking up some junk for you I think... The little bit I knew him, he seemed like a great guy and as evidenced from the prior posts, he clearly was. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
