Thanks for the pics. Is that a dozer frame i see in the last pic kinda stuffed under the D?

Sure is, and the blade was there but out of view sitting in front of the D.

A guy at the show was selling his WH, rotovator and dozer blade. I came away with the blade on the basis it would be nice to have one for each of my Cs. This one was complete with the lever so now I'll also be able to fab an exact replica for the first one which had lost the part somewhere along the way.

That D came out realy good.. u did a realy nice job on it

And i have just checked the dash on my brothers D180 about the hrs meter and that must be the right one.

the tractor i have here also have the same and it has 690 hrs on it

Thanks for that Lars. Re the meter that's a second confirmation that they were fitted so I think I can now take it that my hour meter is original.

Sorry you couldn't make it to the show but I'm told there will be another next year - it would have been great to have met you.

I can assure you that it look's even better in the 'Real' Darren. I was able to see it when Andy took the trouble to get it to Ardingly. I'm glad you did Andy, as I was never sure about the Looks of the 'D's. Now I see them in a different light, especially with the work and finish you've achieved on yours.

Just read the entire thread from beginning to end. You have done excellent work on this tractor.

I just purchased a D-200 and we (wife included) have been looking at everything "D" this evening.

I only hope that some-day, ours looks 1/2 as good as yours.

Im in the states & have a 1976 B-100 and they didnt have hour meters from factory. But the original owner had his dealer install one when he bought it. Its a Datcon dated 1974 but looking at it you wouldnt notice it wasnt a factory gauge. Its rings chrome like my amp gauge is, but both my gauges rings match & have a narrow ridge just like your originals do. The Datcon ring on your D-200 is alot thicker than mine making it stand out more. Guess theres different versions of rings? Very nice job on yours btw, anytime you want to do mine come get it. Yes you will need to return it too...lol
