The brain cancer has spread and his family is bringing him home. He is not expected to live. Please keep Max and his family in your thoughts as you celebrate Thanksgiving. Donate, pledge what ever it takes because stories like this suck and have to stop. Today we are heartbroken to have learned that we will be losing Max soon. STOP CHILDHOOD cANCER! GO MAX GO! by Max Nunn on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 3:28pm Today Max had his last clinic and hospital visit. The results of the scan were not good. We have discussed the results with Max's doctor and have all come to the conclusion to end treatment towards a cure, and just focus on keeping Max comfortable with pain management. The tumor has grown probably 25% and Max does not have much time left. He is not coherent right now nor has he been all day. We have doubled up his dose of morphine and increased his fentanyl. He has started to vomit bile, and his right hand has some neurological problems, it is trembling and jerking. He has no use of his left side and there is a depression in his skull from his previous surgery. He is growing rigid and stiff throughout his body. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
