Neat website. One of my best friends was a union electrician from NJ and he owned a house up there in Lynn Lake. Arranged his work schedule so he could go up when the ice melted around July 4th and come home when the lake started freezing over around Labor Day. If you want to find Lynn Lake, get a map of Manitoba and keep going up until there's only one road left. That road ends at Lynn Lake

Perry sent me the link a few weeks back & I'm still takeing it all in.

If any one uses "Google Earth View" look up Lynn Lake & see how remote it really is.

Yeah, that guy is over on MTF. I have been to that website a time or two. It seems he's always up to something, making this, doing that. Interesting guy and site also.

I still can't get over the fact there pulling sleds behind dozers weighing several tons.....and that these dozers ocasionally get wet..real wet.

Do you supose they drawl straws to see who's going in to tie the rope on it?

I enjoy reading on the KoO's site...but like the looks of palm trees & spanish moss much more than ice.
