Before I found RedSquare, I would find myself playing online poker for hours at at time. Now mind you, I was only playing for free, but still, I would be ridiculed for spending so much time at it. One day the wife suggested that I get another hobby, so I decided to fulfill me decade long dream of restoring my "horse".

Now all my time is spent here and in the garage, and it is actually costing me money. where at least the poker was free.

The wife says preatty much the same thing, "I can't believe you spend that much time looking at tractor pictures" is her words. But she did go with me last weekend when I went to South Bend IN for my D-200 and met some of the guy, David- Simpleman , Mike- TDB , Paul- Dunk50, And the wives.

So she knows what this habit is all about.

As long as I take my wife to the OU football games she is happy and I can do whatever I want the rest of the time. She knows that the WH's will get her garden and flowers done. She is one of the best. :thumbs:

I feel your pain! There always seems to be a huge sigh when the laptop comes out.

Yup, I know that one! Fortunately my missus is a Saint among women - she bought me #2 (and the frame for #3) 312-8, and generally doesn't hassle me too much about the amount of time I spend either here or out in the shop. Sure helps that she's got a horse of her own (four legged variety, and a damned sight more expensive than my hobby!). All in all, life is pretty good!

My wife says that I am addicted to this website. I just putt around on it all the time. She calls Redsquare my "Gang". So when she asks what I am doing clicking away so fast at the keyboard and the mouse, I just tell her, "I'm hanging with the gang."

She then sighs and walks out of the room because she knows that what ever she is about to say, will not be processed or even absorbed into my memory until I am done.

Then I think to myself; "Well that got rid of her!" and then I do my little happy dance in my head!

She does however make comments about taking up so much of the garage, but then again, it is MY garage!

Ever once in a while, she will lean over to see what I am looking at, and say, "What is that guy thinking" or "Thats neat", or some other approiate comment.

My Ol' Lady just looks at me and then looks in the back of the truck and says "What did you buy now" or "I guess you have already been to storage haven't you, so what did you buy now" when I come home from tractor shows or she knows that I have been out Wheel Horsin' around. She just knows me only to well. And all I can tell her is well I could be hanging out in bars chasing drunk fluzzies or something stupid like that or even hanging out with my Harley buddies which of course are chasin' the drunk fluzzies, drinking and having too much fun.
