Southdale Mall, located in Edina, Minnesota, was created to lure shoppers during frigid winters. Southdale Mall opened with 72 tenants. The $20 million, 80,000-square-foot mall included a skating rink, a giant bird cage and a post office. The complex also included an auto showroom, a playground and a grocery store. 2 1

More info please! I know of many cities that pipe steam or hot water but I’ve not heard of this for air conditioning.

I had several occasions to make entries into the reactor containment building at power, temperatures were about 120 or more. Fortunately my stay would be aa half hour or less. Beap52 2,497 #11 Posted 13 hours ago It seems like around here most of the malls that we used to visit have closed. I never was much of a mall shopper. Usually hit the Sears tool department and then ready to head home.
953 nut 69,242 #12 Posted 4 hours ago My wife and her friends make their annual pilgrimage to the Georgia Mall, two hours away, to see the Christmas displays. Each time they remark on the number of stores that have closed.
