Snowthrower compatibility....

Hello all! After much debating, I'm going to give the C195 a workout.....with snowthrower. However, it's from that 520H and want to know if its going to work with my C195.. (fingers crossed).

Yes, it will work.

Weights and chains make better traction. I even use #40 roller chain wrapped around the fronts for much better steering. 

Adjust the ground speed as necessary to keep it loaded up and keep it from clogging

And a quick spray down on the auger & chute with your favorite slick stuff in a can before the storm helps. I find the cheapo store brand cooking spray works fine - just don't leave the can outside in the cold!

And so, I got it attached to the front of my C195 and now another problem, the lifting rod that slides in and out of the tube, where does it pin to? Plus, the drive belt needs to be changed, too short. Not sure how it went on a 520 but it's a pain...

The flag pins to the bellcrank.

First time the belt tensioner/ mule drive has ever been off this tractor 😜.

You'll need to add some 3/4" ID spacers to that flag rod if it doesn't lift enough. 

You want to leave enough play in it to slide in and out so the blower can float up and down a bit when blowing
