dodge78 135 #1 Posted 2 hours ago I bought a15300 Derale off of eBay. The add says it is new, unopened undamaged. It came in a undamaged good box . The box inside appears to be taped at the bottom, there is hole on top of the box where one of the connectors poked through but there was the brown paper packing with no holes in it. When I pulled it out, the connector looked good. The tubes on the other end, not so much. I contacted the seller and sent them the last picture. The seller says the damage will not affect flow. Some how my thinking is that it will. With the wall of the tube being pushed in just about to the side, I am not seeing how it would not. Am I missing something? Not exactly what you want... BUT... if the seller insists that it was undamaged prior to shipment AND blames the carrier... that is on HIM TOO. Poor packaging of fragile items is a risk at best. I double box any questionacle item before shipping... Inside box packed with wadding or bubble wrap to immobize the part, more packing between the boxes. Looks to have been shipped via FedEx...... was the item insured?? If so, remind him he will be compensated upon its return IF adequately insured.... The seller seens to be a legitamite automotive supplier... ask for a pre-paid RGA (Return Goods Authorization) BEFORE sending it back. That puts the shipping cost on him. You have the right to dispute the sale thru EBAY - did you check the seller's rating brfore purchasing?? If less than 96% - that's on YOU. My Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
