Retired Wrencher 6,909 #1 Posted 6 hours ago I was talking with my cousin today and he mentioned ignition module coil, He was a mechanic in the Air Force. Rebuilding engines stuff like that so it sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. This is for Kohler engines. I found on eBay for $35. It covers K141 all the way up to 301s and beyond just wondering if anybody has ever tried This. Would be nice not to mess with points anymore more. Let me know your experience with these. Any comments are welcome.
ebinmaine 80,173 #2 Posted 6 hours ago Do you have any pics or links? I've seen a module that replaces the condenser but the points are still needed. Supposedly the points do wear less.... but Kohler points really don't get replaced often anyway.

953 nut 68,288 #10 Posted 1 hour ago That is a standard magneto used for ignition only. Can be used on any Kohler K series if you already have the correct flywheel and mount.

New one on me too. Magneto ignition coil used with points and condenser 4775520-S Used in the K301S-47147b with Bendix starter and 10 amp stator.
