This build took 15 hours, plus a few hours of tech support on site because of an aura board malfunction when they flashed it. I have probably 7 or 8 hours of painting into it and am almost ready to fly! This has been an awesome trip so far, and it goes until Sunday I believe.
Pullstart 70,980 #12 Posted August 7 So close to flying! They suggest finish paint before installing the wheels up on the front legs. We need to find someone who has a cutter tough enough to snip some axles out of 1/8” rod for us.
Pullstart 70,980 #14 Posted August 7 It’s my first plane I’ve ever constructed and it’s year 2026. I just figured a pig that flys has got to be fast, and it needs race numbers. 2
Pullstart 70,980 #16 Posted August 8 1. Hambone can fly! 2. Hambone prefers not to. 3. Rub some dirt in it you’re fine!
